Live View times are approximate for one camera and vary with screen size, quality, and motion in the scene. Watching several cameras at once uses data faster. Footage is stored on your own device, not in the cloud, with no storage fees.
How does it connect?
The app first tries a direct connection to the device your cameras are connected to. When that device is on an ordinary home, store, or office router, this usually works even when you’re away, and it’s unlimited and free on every plan.
Only where the network blocks direct connections, such as locked-down corporate networks, school or public Wi-Fi, and some cellular networks, does the Grablo relay server pass along the encrypted video, and only that amount counts toward your plan’s allowance (1GB / 30GB / 100GB per month).

When is the relay server used?
Only when the app can’t connect directly to your device. Most home and office routers connect directly. Where the network blocks direct connections, such as locked-down corporate networks, school or public Wi-Fi, and some cellular networks, an encrypted relay server carries your Live View. Whenever a direct connection works, nothing goes through the relay and viewing is unlimited.
What happens when I run out?
Until your next reset date, Live View works only over a direct connection. Recording, detection, alerts, and searching recordings keep working. The app tells you when you run out and when it resets, and changing plans adds capacity right away.
When does the relay server allowance reset?
Every month. Unused allowance doesn’t carry over.
Does the price change with more cameras?
No. Cameras and places are unlimited on every plan, and the price doesn’t depend on how many you use.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Change or cancel anytime from Plan & billing in the app.
