Every feature is free on the Free plan. Plans differ only in the relay server allowance, used when a direct connection isn’t possible. Most home and office routers connect directly, and then remote access is unlimited and free on every plan.

Relay usage depends on what you open remotely. Screens with video, such as camera views, use it fastest.
How does it connect?
The app first tries a direct connection to your on-site device. When that device is on an ordinary home, store, or office router, this usually works even when you’re away, and it’s unlimited and free on every plan.
Only where the network blocks direct connections, such as locked-down corporate networks, school or public Wi-Fi, and some cellular networks, does the Grablo relay server pass the encrypted data along, and only that amount counts toward your plan’s allowance (1GB / 30GB / 100GB per month).

FAQ
When is the relay server used?
Only when the app can’t connect directly to your device. Most home and office routers connect directly. Where the network blocks direct connections, an encrypted relay server carries the connection. Whenever a direct connection works, nothing goes through the relay and use is unlimited.
What happens when I run out?
Until your next reset date, remote access works only over a direct connection. Automations running on your devices keep working. The app tells you when you run out and when it resets, and changing plans adds capacity right away.
When does the relay server allowance reset?
Every month. Unused allowance doesn’t carry over.
Does the price change with more devices?
No. Devices are unlimited on every plan, and the price doesn’t depend on how many you use.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Change or cancel anytime from Plan & billing in the app.
