Projects
Switch, create, duplicate, rename, or delete projects. A project is one configuration unit holding cameras, integrations, rules, and the log.
- Click the project name in the header.
- Select the task you want (switch, create, duplicate, rename, or delete).
- A controller runs one project at a time. For two independent configurations, switch between two projects or use two controllers.
- Stop monitoring before deleting a running project. Deleted projects move to Trash and can be restored within 30 days.
Updating the project version
Each project records the feature version it was created with. When a new version is released, Reflex offers Update. Settings such as values, switches, times, thresholds, and references carry over.
However, expressions written with blocks or scripts in custom conditions or in action value fields must be entered again. Copy any complex expressions before updating.
After updating, controllers older than the new version can no longer connect to this project. If you use several controllers, or the project might move to another machine, update the controller software first.
