Each project records the feature version it was created with. When a new version is released, Reflex offers Update, and settings are carried over: values, switches, times, thresholds, and references are all preserved.

One kind of content is not preserved: expressions written with blocks or scripts in custom conditions or in action value fields must be entered again. Copy any complex expressions before updating.

After updating, controllers older than the new version can no longer connect to this project. Update the controller software first if multiple controllers are in use, or if the project might move to another machine.
