Overview

Register I/O devices in Settings → I/O Device by specifying the device type, the interface (GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, and other device connection methods), and the connected pins. Registered devices are used in Action → I/O Device Control by selecting a command.

Each device provides commands such as initialization (INIT), data reads, and output control, and every command defines READ or WRITE values. Values read from a device are stored in variables for use in conditions and dashboards.
