How Rules Work
Knowing when a rule runs makes it easier to build the rule you want. Every rule is a single statement: when all of these conditions are met, run these actions in order.
A rule runs once at the moment all conditions become true together. It does not repeat while they stay true. To run again, one condition must clear and then be met again.
Note
Detection results can flip on and off in a short time. Without a hold time, the rule runs
on each flip. See Controlling Repeat Firing.
