Managing Rules
Rename, duplicate, delete, or temporarily switch off rules.
Caution
Editing is locked while running. Stop, edit, then start again. Face enrollment and
adding training samples remain available while running.
| Task | Method |
|---|---|
| Rename | Click the name at the top of the middle area and edit it. |
| Duplicate | Duplicate in the rule's row menu. Conditions, actions, and settings are copied. |
| Delete | Delete in the row menu. The contained conditions and actions are deleted as well. |
| Suspend | Turn off the switch beside the rule name. Conditions and actions each have their own switch. Settings are kept while off. |
Applying the Same Rule to Several Cameras
- In the rule's row menu, click Duplicate.
- In the copy's camera condition, select a different camera.
Why editing is locked while running
The controller runs the project it received at start time. Changes made while running would not take effect, so editing is locked.
