Describing What to Detect

You can use a written description as the condition, even for people and vehicles you have not registered. Features visible in a single frame work best, such as clothing color, belongings, or a vehicle's color and type.

1. On the add screen, under What to detect, select Person matching a description detected or Vehicle matching a description detected.
2. In Description, type what to look for (up to 120 characters), for example a person in a red top or a white SUV.
3. Set the actions and schedule, then click Create. While the device processes the description, the button reads Saving…. If the description cannot be processed, the reason appears below the field.

In the list, the item reads as a sentence containing your description, for example “person in a red top” detected.
