Connection Status
The status indicator shows the connection with the device and whether it is running.
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Running | Recording and analysis are operating normally. | None required. |
| Connecting… | The app is connecting to the device. | Wait. |
| Starting… | The device is starting. Also shown while it restarts after settings are saved. | Wait. |
| Stopping… | The device is stopping, because Stop was clicked or because it is restarting to apply settings. | Wait. |
| Stopped | The device is connected but not running. This is also the state while no camera exists. | Click Start in Settings > Status. If there are no cameras, add one. |
| Not connected | The app cannot reach the device. | Check the device's power and network. |
| Cannot connect. Please check the device | The device is connected, but several automatic attempts to start it have failed. | Restart the device and reopen the app. If the issue persists, see Troubleshooting. |
While the device restarts to apply saved settings, the screen shows Stopping the device and then Starting the device again.
