Checking the Connection Status
The status indicator tells you whether the device is working. Running means recording and analysis are normal.

| Running | Recording and analysis are normal. | Nothing. |
| Connecting… · Starting… · Stopping… | Connecting, starting, or stopping. Also shown after Stop is clicked and while the device restarts after settings are saved. | Wait. |
| Stopped | Connected but not running. A new device and a device someone clicked Stop on are in this state. The device never starts on its own. | If there are no cameras, add one first. Then click Start in Settings > Status. |
| Not connected | The app cannot reach the device. | Check the device's power and network. If it persists, see Troubleshooting. |
A full-screen message appears after saving settings
While the device restarts to apply saved settings, the screen shows Stopping the device and then Starting the device again.
